The Importance of Earth understood at this tender age. Enjoyed reciting Bhoomi Mangalam, Preparing the soil bed, sowing seeds, watering them removing plastic, sweet wrappers from our campus. We showed our gratitude by making beautiful cards for mother earth.

Developing empathy, caring, responsibility, sharing and gratitude for all that they have.

Clothes, toys, books got from home by our children being handed over for their under privileged friends.

Mothercare School kids plucking tomatoes and making juice and soup

Mothercare School kids plucking organically grown tomatoes in the school campus and making  yummylicious juice and soup and having it too. Children learnt so many new words while doing these healthy and tasty activities like, plucking, squashing, cutting, slicing, mixing, cooking etc. We are sure most of our children are perhaps the first in their families to ever get the joy of plucking fresh vegetables from a garden and that too grown organically also using them fresh and full of vitamins. We wish parents could see how much their kids enjoyed tomato juice.

if I don’t take responsibility for conserving water, for planting trees then my future is bleak like this barren earth with land slides and acid rains.

Nurture mother earth with preventing air pollution.

Young Volunteers for a Better India

Thank you for all the clothes, toys, books and shoes collected for distribution amongst under privileged children. They have been distributed to the children of mobile labourers from Singrauli in Madhya Pradesh being encouraged to study at the NISHULK SHIKSHA KENDRA near Ashiana Aurangabad crossing Lucknow.

Volunteer For A Better India

This is the " IPTADA" of Young Volunteers for a Better India. Children have to learn to be grateful for what they have and realise that there are others who are not as fortunate. Makar Sankranti celebrations on 14th Jan can start with them collecting a fist full daily of Khichri ingredients or til/laiya laddoos or gur for their new found friends. Our children growing up responsible seems to be the only hope for a better India. Happy new Year.
