Young Volunteers for a Better India
Thank you for all the clothes, toys, books and shoes collected for distribution amongst under privileged children. They have been distributed to the children of mobile labourers from Singrauli in Madhya Pradesh being encouraged to study at the NISHULK SHIKSHA KENDRA near Ashiana Aurangabad crossing Lucknow.
Volunteer For A Better India
This is the " IPTADA" of Young Volunteers for a Better India. Children have to learn to be grateful for what they have and realise that there are others who are not as fortunate. Makar Sankranti celebrations on 14th Jan can start with them collecting a fist full daily of Khichri ingredients or til/laiya laddoos or gur for their new found friends. Our children growing up responsible seems to be the only hope for a better India. Happy new Year.

Dear parents,
Children will be making rakhees for you themselves. They are learning about caring, loving and feeling responsible too through stories being told. Please send lots of cheap. simple rakhees with them as they will be tying them on the trees, rabbit hutch, geese enclosure and Gabbar, Kajri kennels too.
In making rakhees, fine motor control with cutting with scissors, tearing, pasting, colouring is happening. Shapes, colours are being revised and aesthetic development is happening too.
Please send your child's favourite sweet in the tiffin that day.
Love,
Shobha Dev
