4th AUGUST FRIDAY: Rakshabandhan Celebrations. Children will come to school in ethinic home clothes that day. They have to bring a bunch of the cheapest rakhees with them that day to tie around flowers, plants, trees, rabbits, geese and hamster cages. The school dogs Gabbar, Jai and Veeru too will be tied rakhees so that the children learn that they are responsible for looking after nature and all its inhabitants. Some Mithai in their tiffins would be nice to share with each other after tying the rakhees.
